Fixed Term-12 months. Play significant role in an EPSRC consortium project. Research at IESD centres on retrofitting strategies for existing buildings and investigate appropriate technologies and strategies for reducing their carbon emissions. Undert. adaptation and carbon emission reduction to mitigate climate change. Must have good first degree in either engineering/physical sciences or a related discipline. Keen interest in sustainable buildings and significant experience in simulation of building energy and user comfort, adaption of buildings to future climates, retrofit of existing buildings, future climate weather data, simulation automation using cluster of processors and financial assessment of retrofit interventions..
