Departmental Web Content Managers We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals with a knowledge of andskills in digital media, website management, and digital marketing. Your primary responsibility will be developing and improving content on our corporate website and micro sites. You will also play a vital role in developing the use of digital media to engage with Welsh citizens and stakeholders. An integral part of the Welsh Governments communication team, you will lead on advising colleagues in some of our key departments on using digital media effectively to support Welsh Government priorities and develop online communication strategies for key policies, initiatives or consultations. Working within the Welsh Governments corporate brand and guidelines, you will be responsible for commissioning, drafting, editing and proofreading content for the web, and online channels. You will also manage the development of micro sites and social media channels.You will be responsible for analysing data and responding quickly to the needs of our users. You will need good communication skills and will be responsible for developing a good understanding of policy areas you are responsible for, maintaining relationships with your colleagues, devolved content authors and external stakeholders.
