Candidates should have a PhD and a relevant publication record, experience of molecular biology techniques, particularly cDNA library preparation, knowledge of high-throughput sequencing technology and the ability to analyse the large datasets. generated, excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to present research at national and international symposia, ability to work independently and largely unsupervised, ability to manage the day-to-day running of a research project, including assisting the work of junior researchers and technicians, and managing resources effectively, ability to work as part of a team and commitment to the project.
