Research Associate Fellow
Candidates should have a good 21 first degree or equivalent in electrical engineering and hold a PhD or equivalent, or be close to completing in either power system fault location or power electronics. They should know and understand common fault location methods and more advanced schemes such as Travelling Wave and Active Impedance Estimation, as well as . typical signal processing algorithms used for fault location schemes. Good organisational skills are also required. This post is available from 1 August 2011 and will be offered on a fixed-term for a period of one year.
