Personal Assistant to a Visually Impaired Person
JOB DUTIES : The main duties of this post will be to provide support for a person who has a visual impairment with domestic and social tasks including providing transportation.
Support:
Help with washing and sorting clothes, reading and sorting mail.
Domestic tasks:
Provide assistance with preparation of daily meals, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, ironing and other general household tasks to maintain a clean a safe living environment.
Outside activity:
Support with shopping, keeping hospital appointments, collecting prescriptions, accompaniment to social events.
Other duties:
Provide assistance with any other tasks that may be reasonably requested. OTHER INFO : Due to the nature of the job, we can only accept applications from individuals over the age of 18. SALARY INFO : £8.20 per hour EQUALITY STATEMENT : None.
