Transport Manager
With a demanding customer base, our client, a third-part distributor, requires an experienced Manager to oversee its Crewe operation. With extensive experience in logistics management, you will manage a team of warehouse staff and drivers to ensure the smooth operation of a multi-drop home delivery service. You will monitor drivers hours, train and develop . staff, monitoring KPIs and SLAs to ensure service expectations are exceeded on every occasion. CPC qualified, and with solid understanding of drivers hours regulations, you will develop this operation from a hands-on standpoint. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will provide regular feedback to senior management regarding operational performance, identifying areas of potential improvement and implementing change where required. Absolute are operating as an employment agency.. Pension available.
