Pertemps are seeking a experienced Business Information Analysts Fulltime Hours Hours: 09:00 5:30 Hourly Rate: 12.30 Temporary Contract The role of the Business Information Analyst BIA is to ensure that the first of these happens correctly. In carrying out this work, the BIA will be able to draw on support from and in turn will need to partsupervise the work of the four Information Architects within the Access to Information team. The BIA will also have to play an important part in ensuring that systems and processes developed by the team are acceptable to the service and are useful and useable to the users of the service and, where appropriate, the public. Key Tasks The Business Information Analyst will be expected to ensure that the following are carried out as efficiently as possible: Works with the Information Architects within the IM team, the ICT Business Support Team and the Business Transformation Team to translate business processes into an understanding of how information needs to flow to support the business process. Investigates current practice in creating, storing and finding information within Wiltshire Council and makes recommendations that will improve the usability of these processes, increase the accessibility of information and improve the overall resilience of the information management processes and tools Investigates user problems in gaining access to information and develop workable solutions Works with users at all levels through the organi...
