FRANCAISAn employer in the social sector is looking for Parttime social workers, (m/f), for direct work with children and families (The United Kingdom).
Description :
- The employer is setting up a new service: the 'Care Services Centre'. This is a virtual centre that will provide specific pieces of work to organisations and individuals e.g. family support work, supporting young people in care. You will be working in the residence of the individual (most likely working with a young person in their home, together with their family, providing education) or the premises of the employer, for possibly 3 hours a day, 3 to 5 days per week.
- The aim is to provide a flexible service to social care organisations that creatively and cost-effectively meet specific needs.
- You must be based in London, or easily able to travel to London.
Profile:
Minimum requirements :
- Relevant qualifications: social work, social pedagogy, pedagogy, educational sciences.
- GSCC registration (preferable). Check www.gscc.org.ukfor more information
- Direct experience of working with children & young people and their families
- Excellent communication skills, very good spoken and written English
- Confident in working independently.
