Editor - Financial Markets - Research and Analysis - 35-40K - London Your Profile This Editor needs to have proven experience in an editorial position gained at a financial services firm, trade publication or wire service. This Editor must also have experience editing, restructuring and writing reports and be able to write newsworthy press releases, work to tight deadlines and have an eye for detail. Fluency in English is essential; fluency in other European languages would be advantageous. The Role This Editors main responsibilities will be to Edit press releases, credit reports, industry outlooks and special comments covering in particular structured finance markets and banking, but also corporate finance, insurance, sovereigns and local and regional governments across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). This Editor will also be writing newsworthy press releases and articles for internal newsletters or for placement in external journals. Finally this Editor will help train analysts, when required, to write concise credit-focused reports and ensure that house style is applied consistently.
