This outcome-focused role will see you making a pivotal contribution to the successful delivery of our ambitious national curriculum testing programme. You will be responsible for implementing all the operational aspects – a challenge that involves heading up a multidisciplinary team, managing suppliers and keeping the programme on track. Crucially, you will also coordinate work across our functional teams, while developing a robust delivery plan that will mitigate risk and ensure overall quality.
A natural leader with a project management qualification and a track record of delivery within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, you will excel in this role. You have the proven ability to manage stakeholders and third-party suppliers, and you know how to both prepare and control large-scale budgets. What’s more, you have the communication skills and professional credibility needed to build relationships and influence at a senior level across the agency.

Developing relationships with journalists, opinion formers, members and other organisations, you will identify and develop stories and ideas for features, then sell them in to the media. You will also be responsible for drafting and issuing press materials including statements and articles to national, regional and specialist media.
With a significant track record as a press, media or PR professional, you will have experience of developing and implementing media strategies. We are also looking for someone with in-depth experience of working with journalists in the national, regional and specialist media.
Hours: 35 hours per week
