JOB DUTIES : The post holders will significantly enhance PMSTs capacity to manage the Apprenticeship NI Scheme by carrying out onsite assessments of apprentices in line with City and Guilds requirements to ensure achievement of industry standards and quality in relation to the QCF/NVQ portfolio development. To manage the training, assessment and monitoring of apprentices through to achievement in any of the following disciplines: Plumbing Heating and Ventilating Industrial and Commercial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Gas.
The Assessor role, through adherence to PMST and City and Guilds Policies and
procedures, is to support and guide, but also to challenge, encourage and build upon
character, skills and enhance each apprentice both personally and professionally in
relation to the onsite assessment and portfolio building process. The assessor will be
responsible for onsite visits, evidence gathering, workshop delivery and continuous
