The post is based in the University Department of Psychiatry, Section of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, at the Warneford Hospital. The post is full time, however applicants wishing to work part-time may be considered.
You will be involved in the delivery of the three treatments (cognitive behaviour therapy, progressive muscle relaxation and a treatment to enhance mother/infant interaction using video feedback). You will also be expected to liaise with colleagues within the team and GPs and other healthcare professionals where appropriate. In addition the Senior Psychological Therapist will be involved in the development, manualisation and piloting of the treatment
Qualified clinical psychologists (or with another relevant clinical qualification) you will have experience of working with mothers and infants. The post will involve travelling to visit participants and it is therefore essential that you have a valid driving licence and access to transport. As many of the research participants will be working, evening and weekend work will be essential.

This is an exciting and highly demanding role that involves:
- Identifying opportunities and directly driving the proposal application and grant management process from various EC and European sourced budget lines and themes; deliver significant results annually in grants secured.
- Engaging with agencies and field offices to determine programme priorities and resource needs;
- Managing and enhancing the quality of applications, including consistency and raising standards;
- Applying lessons learned from audits or grant evaluations to enhance further risk anticipation and management;
- Maintain and enhance professional and persuasive communications and relations with a wide range of government and non-government contacts.

Experience and qualifications:
- Significant experience in resource mobilisation and grant management, especially expanding a proposal pipeline and cultivating relationships with bi-lateral (European) and foundation donors. Hands-on experience with and knowledge of their budget lines, frameworks, formats, procedures, methodologies and preferences is necessary;
- Deep understanding of contemporary development issues and organisations, with field experience in one or more regions.
- Exceptional and proven written, analytical, verbal, presentation and IT competencies.
- Fluency in more than one European language, aside from English (ideally French or German);
