About ourselves The laundry global design centre is responsible for designing novel and appealing laundry liquids innovations (fabric softeners) for future market place exploitation. We are looking for This position relates to a Process Design Manager's role within this centre, which is a core component of the product technology design activity. Area of responsibility This position is responsible for the leadership of people and programmes in process development for global innovation projects withinthe laundry category. Respnsibilities include the delivery of robust process specifications for new innovations as well as novel manufacturing capabilities for the laundry products of the future. The candidate must have strong communication skills. The candidate must have strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical personnel, along with sound engineering proficiencies. The position requires strong leadership and team alignment qualities as well as a robust work ethic. You will oversee creation of programmes to define processing routes and operating conditions for new formulations. Ensure process designs meet Brand Quality and Supply Chain objectives and communicate selected processing routes via Technology Transfer documents. You will also manage scale up of formulations from bench to pilot scale and manage manufacture of product for cosnumer testing and oversee stability testing for selected process route. As the key interface with Supply Chain and other R&D functions, you must have or quickly develop network of peers in categories and regions in order to leverage Unilever experience.
