JOB DUTIES : General welding duties. Various contractors under collective agreements with The International Brotherhood of Boilermakers and the United Association, are looking for TIG Welders in various locations/Oil sands in Canada. Contract duration will vary from site to site; contracts from 4 to 14 weeks. Flights, accommodation, meals and work permits provided free. Testing of applicants' welding skills to be carried out at the Belfast Met College, (BMC) or at the Training Centre in Letterkenny. Salary approximately £24.60 (sterling) approx $40 Canadian Dollars per hour + overtime at time and a half and double time. Full union regulation and salary will apply; same equal rights and conditions to Canadian workers. Paid weekly. Job starting Spring 2012.
