The Emergency Admissions Unit is a 26 bedded acute medical admissions area for the city campus. It takes selected patients according to the specialities at the city campus giving a wide variety of experience to the team. It is currently situated on Jenner ward but will be relocating in June to Morton ward, with the advantage of monitoring facilities.
We currently have a vacancy for 2 Band 5 staff nurses to join the team, who will be responsible for co-ordinating the delivery of care for patients admitted to EAU.
EAU takes admissions from a several specialities so this is an opportunity to get experience of patients with a variety of medical conditions.

B3 ward is a 35 bedded ward which also has GP assessment areas and is located at the QMC campus.
It takes predominantly short stay patients from the Emergency department and from GPs. It has a very fast turnover, discharging on average 180-200 patients a week.
B3 currently has 3 Band 5 vacancies, for an informal discussion please contact either Laura Ray or Shirley Wallis, ward managers for this area on 69003.
Both areas are just starting the 'Better for You' programme, which makes this an exciting area to experience change for the better.

Full time, 6 month fixed term contract, based at The National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery, UCLH, London.
NeuroResponse is a new social enterprise model of care that combines technology, humanity and quality to improve the well-being of people living with long-term neurological conditions. The service based at UCLH is led by a Nurse Consultant in partnership with the Young Foundation.
The NeuroResponse Service Coordinator is to provide comprehensive administrative and project organisational support to the NeuroResponse team, including database administration and assistance in the smooth delivery of the various NeuroResponse services.
