Located in our London office, The Search Marketing Analyst will take responsibility for gathering of actionable data from our various sources to ensure consistent and continual optimization of the campaigns, as well as the generation and dissemination of reporting to ensure that the wider team is aware of campaign performance trends.
This role will focus on our sites for Portugal, Turkey, The Netherlands and Sweden, as well as any other future sites yet to launch.
Responsibilities include:
-Building online marketing campaigns with a primary focus on paid search marketing
-Designing, implementing, and analyzing experiments to test optimization theories, including changes in bidding strategies, keyword discovery, and creative enhancements
-Ad hoc analysis of data and strategies to recommend performance improvements
-Daily and weekly campaign performance reporting and analysis
-Working with the engineering and marketing teams to identify project areas or process enhancements to drive overall program improvements
-Developing relationships with partners at major search engines
Requirements:
-An interest in solving problems / genuine curiosity about how consumers make decisions
-Not required, but desired: fluent in one of the following: French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Dutch, Swedish
-1-3 years experience with search engine marketing
-Quantitative thinker
-Passion for using data to make decisions
-Demonstrated analytic and problem-solving skills.
-Skill with Excel and or Access
-Background in online advertising, paid search, e-commerce, and online travel are preferred
-BA or BS degree (preferred that degree be in mathematics, statistics, computer science/engineering, or other quantitative field.)
-Ability to work well with many types of people

The role
The Centre for e-Auctions helps create coalitions between public sector organisations who use e-auctions, encouraging collaborative procurement and creating efficiencies of scale. You will monitor spend and savings resulting from e-auction projects, measuring forecasts against actual spending or savings. You will then translate your findings into accurate, relevant management information for project managers and e-auction stakeholders, as well as generating input for wider reporting systems.
The person
Your understanding of data analysis techniques and general performance management approaches should be matched by knowledge of the types of management information used within procurement exercises.
You will also need strong interpersonal skills to secure the support of colleagues and build good working relationships.

The role
A key element in collaborative procurement, the Centre for e-Auctions acts as a vehicle for the creation of coalitions between public sector organisations. By co-ordinating e-auction activity, it leverages resources and helps to deliver economies of scale.
Responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of e-auctions, you will be the focal point for reporting progress on various projects and will be closely involved in stakeholder engagement. You will also provide support for projects and events, including the preparation of presentation, briefing and marketing materials.
The person
You’ll need a good understanding of running e-auctions, including core stages and milestones, along with excellent project management skills. Knowledge of PRINCE2 or an equivalent project management methodology would be helpful.
Strong interpersonal skills will be essential to deal credibly and persuasively with colleagues, stakeholders and senior management, and to operate effectively in complex, political environments.
Knowledge of public sector procurement processes and regulations would be helpful, but is not essential.
