Salary: Neg, plus performance bonus The Prince's Teaching Institute (PTI) is an educational charity which raises ambition and challenge in state secondary schools by providing professional development for teachers. The PTI works in partnership with the University of Cambridge, is a member of the Prince's Charities Foundation and it currently supports English, History, Science, Geography and Maths teachers. In the 2008/9 academic year the PTI reached over 1,700 teachers and over 145,000 pupils from a wide range of state secondary schools in England. In 2008/09 it raised funds of £550,000, is on track for 09/10 and has a target of a further £2.9m to raise by 2013. The role requires generating income principally from individuals, but also from corporates and charitable trusts. You will be required to; - Determine the fundraising strategy - Identify future donors and grow the donor base - Maintain existing relationships - Ensure income is delivered The Prince's Teaching Institute has a newly formed Development Committee of senior individuals, and you will be required to manage the committee, grow its membership, and work with them to expand the charity's donor base and increase income. We are looking for an energetic person, who is socially adept and prepared to take ownership of the charity's fundraising strategy. The employer for this vacancy is Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust We are looking for a Psychology graduate interested in undertaking clinical audit / research and gaining clinical experience. The post would be suitable for an individual in preparation for clinical psychology training. You will be part of a Clinical Psychology & Neuropsychology Department which incorporates specialisms in Paediatric Psychology, Adult Medical Psychology, and Adult and Child Neuropsychology. The specific post requires the post holder to audit the support needs of young adults in renal services at two sites (Nottingham University Hospital and Royal Derby Hospital) as part of the NHS Kidney Care funded East Midlands Renal Network Supporting Young Adults Project. This will involves interviewing patients, maintaining a database, analysing and presenting data. The post holder will be expected to participate in co-facilitating group sessions with the Young Adult Worker and contribute to a staff training program. We are looking for an assistant psychologist with previous experience of clinical work in a similar capacity, in particular with experience of administering face-to-face interviews and group work. Excellent communication skills, both oral and in writing, and IT competency are essential. It takes selected patients according to the specialities at the city campus giving a wide variety of experience to the team. It is currently situated on Jenner ward but will be relocating in June to Morton ward, with the advantage of monitoring facilities. We currently have a vacancy for 2 Band 5 staff nurses to join the team, who will be responsible for co-ordinating the delivery of care for patients admitted to EAU. EAU takes admissions from a several specialities so this is an opportunity to get experience of patients with a variety of medical conditions.
